Whey protein which is the main ingredient of our 80% Diet Whey has an impressive BV score of 104, this is higher than milk and eggs, as well as being a lot higher than casein often used as a cheap bulking protein and a Protein Utilization score of 92 when tested in a study in 2005 that can be seen here.

The really important thing we considered when designing our 80% Diet Whey was that it couldn't be too bulky and difficult to digest, with this achieved and the end goal being a true "Diet" protein, we added extra metabolism boosting ingredients meaning that our protein could stand on it's own as a diet aid as well as a convenient meal replacement for those of us that don't do sports for a living (and those that do) mixes perfectly without the aid of a blender, making it easier to take on the move.

These are listed below with a little synopsis to help you understand how we arrived at the additions we did.

CONTAINS A SOURCE OF CAFFIENE 11g PER SERVING.

  • CLA - Conjugated Linoleic Acid - probably one of the most studied weightloss supplements of recent times,  it has found by researchers to have metabolism boosting properties, as well (as later studies would show) some effect on increasing lean muscle mass, which itself increases metabolism at rest as well as during exercise, however don't take our word for it there is a study here that can bear out the reasons we added it.
  • Acetyl L-Carnitine - a multitude of benefits, we specifically concentrated on it's ability to elevate mood and alleviate tiredness, it has been found to decrease testosterone level drop off in older males and generally assists in focus and energy.
  • Taurine - Need we say more, a lot of studies have been done on this substance, assisting with energy an alertness, this was added to give that extra boost that is required when dieting down for a competition or trying to make a weight in boxing or martial arts, as well as being highly beneficial to anybody just looking to help power them through the day where a normal calorie deficit diet would leave them irritable and unable to concentrate, not a good frame of mind for the board meeting!

    Usage

A supplemental product this is designed to be used twice to three times a day, you have to bear in mind that you still require fiber and carbohydrate to function, this product is best used to replace a required protein increase, when we exercise we essentially ask the body to adapt to what we want it to do, it does this by altering the makeup of our muscles, neurological pathways and it requires protein to do this, unfortunately with busy lifestyles and the working day ever increasing in length, it is not always easy to do this without piling in lots of extra calories and fat that you will just have to work off at the gym.

If you aim for around .80 grams of protein to 1g of protein per pound of lean bodyweight you are on the right track, remember that protein has a calorific value as well and simply piling in loads of unnecessary protein will also get converted to fat.

Using our 80% Diet Whey you can be sure that for the majority of people into fitness one or two shakes a day made with water will be sufficient, increasing as you increase your training load or gain weight in the case of bodybuilders.
